Price calculation company
How do you calculate a company's selling price?
To calculate a company's selling price as accurately as possible, 3 valuation methods are usually combined: the comparison valuation method, the yield value valuation method and the asset value valuation method. These methods need to be adapted to the specificities of each sector. A weighted average is then obtained from the 3 methods to estimate the final valuation.Â
Why calculate a company's selling price?
There are a number of situations that can justify the need to know the value of your company:Â
- the purchase or sale of the companyÂ
- estimating the manager's assets
- an application for bank financing
- preparation of a successionÂ
regular valuation to track value creationÂ
The strength of a XVAL valuation is the delivery of a detailed and documented report within 3 days, justifying the methods and assumptions used (EBITDA restatement, coefficient...) which will be the basis for discussions with the buyer, the banker.
