Definition : TPE

TPE is an acronym for "Très Petites Entreprises". The definition of a TPE is a company with less than 10 employees and an annual turnover of less than 2 million euros.

According to INSEE, 99.9% of the companies in France are VSEs/SMEs. Among these 99.9% of VSEs/SMEs, most are VSEs, i.e. about 3 million in France.

How to evaluate a VSE? 

There is no "ideal" or unique method to evaluate or value a VSE. It is advisable to adapt the methods used to the activity of the VSE, the growth of the turnover, the capital intensity. During the valuation of your VSE, the XVAL consultant will advise you on the methods used. Usually, 3 methods are used with a final valuation obtained via a weighted average of the different methods used.
