How to make a PMI estimate?

Different valuation methods exist and must be used together in order to get as close as possible to the ideal method. A weighted average of the 3 most commonly used methods(asset, profitability, comparative) will be used to estimate the final valuation of the SMB.

Why do a PMI estimate?

There are many reasons why an SMB manager (or his partners) may need to request a valuation of his business. Regular valuations may be performed to monitor the value creation of the business. Exceptional valuations, on the other hand, are done only in very specific contexts:

- the purchase or sale of the PMI

- an application for bank financing

- an estimate of the assets

- preparation of a succession
