heritage value assessment method
Definition: Heritage Value Assessment Method
This method combines the two other valuation methods: value for money and comparison. It aims to evaluate the company's assets.Â
How does the asset value assessment method work?
With this method, the objective is to obtain the company's net assets. In concrete terms, an asset cannot be worth less than all its assets, from which we subtract its debts. In the assets of the balance sheet, we will find all the tangible and intangible assets. In this method, an important step is the revaluation of each item that makes up the company's assets at its real value in order to correct the book values present in the company's balance sheet. From this result, we will subtract the debts of the company and thus obtain its patrimonial value.Â
If you wish to have your company evaluated using this method, do not hesitate to contact one of our experts: contact a XVAL consultant.
