Evaluate company
How to evaluate a company?Â
Usually, 3 valuation methods will be used together to establish a weighted average. This weighted average will then be used to obtain the final valuation of the company.Â
The 3 most used valuation methods are the following:
- comparativeÂ
- profitabilityÂ
But there are also other methods such as the DCF, for example.Â
Why evaluate a company?
There are several reasons for needing a business assessment:
- an estimate of the assets
- an application for bank financingÂ
- the purchase or sale of the companyÂ
- preparation of the manager's succession or divorce
The strength of a XVAL valuation is the delivery of a detailed and documented report within 3 days, justifying the methods and assumptions used (EBITDA restatement, coefficient...) which will be the basis for discussions with the buyer, the banker.
