Definition: IPT
VSE stands for "very small industries". Unlike VSEs, VSIs focus exclusively on industrial sectors. TPIs have fewer than 10 employees.Â
How to evaluate an IPT?
Each valuation method used is adapted to your IPT's sector of activity, since each industry may have its own specific practices. That's why there's no such thing as the "ideal" method, and why each one can be adapted according to the IPT's sales or capital intensity.
Usually, the 3 most known valuation methods (yield value, comparison, asset value) will be used to obtain a weighted average.
