How to estimate your start-up ? 

Usually, 3 valuation methods are used to value a company: the method linked to future cash flows (DCF), by value of return and by comparison. A weighted average is then calculated and used to obtain the final valuation of the start-up.

However, it is important to remember that none of the valuation methods is ideal for each start-up, as they operate in different sectors. It is therefore necessary to take into account their specificities: market, tools, recurrence of the turnover, founders. 

Why value your start-up?

A start-up valuation can be requested in several cases. The first one is the most frequent for start-ups: a fund raising or a financing request. In a second case, a valuation will be requested again when the initial investors leave the start-up.
