The sale of business assets in 2022
- In 2022, the market for the sale and transfer of business assets enjoyed solid momentum, with prices reaching their highest level ever. The number of transactions rose by 14.3% to a total of 31,717, with an average price of €215,716.
- Medium-sized towns and small cities were particularly attractive, accounting for over half of all exchanges (55%). By contrast, rural towns and villages with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants will be less attractive in 2022.
